NO serious injuries were reported after a car collided with a signpost at Winwick this afternoon resulting in a lane closure while recovery work took place.
At around 3:15 pm today, Tuesday 7 June, police were called to reports of a collision on the Winwick roundabout, Winwick.
Officers attended and found that a red Ford Fiesta had collided with a signpost.
There were no reports of any serious injuries, but one lane was blocked while recovery work took place. The scene was clear at 4:11 pm.
