A CATTERY could be opened on a poultry farm at Cuerdley, Warrington if proposals submitted to the borough council are approved.
The development would be at Fowl Farm, Back Lane, Cuerdley and would involve the construction of a single-storey timber frame cattery building adjacent to the existing farm house.
There is already parking for five vehicles on the site and the proposals would include an additional three parking spaces. Access would be via the existing farm entrance.
Fowl Farm is within the Green Belt, but the proposed cattery is not classed as inappropriate development.
No objections have been made to the proposals
