Woman threatened with meat cleaver

POLICE are hunting two men who robbed a Warrington shop keeper last night armed with a meat cleaver!
Detectives are now appealing for information following the robbery at the News & Booze newsagents in Norris Street, Padgate last night.
The robbery took place at around 6.30pm when two men, one armed with a meat cleaver, entered the shop and threatened the shopkeeper, a 32-year-old local woman, and demanded she hand over cash from the till.
Both men fled the scene on foot, stealing a three figure sum of cash. Fortunately the victim was unhurt. The men are described as follows – male one is white, dressed in a grey hooded top with a grey scarf concealing his face. The second male wore a dark hooded top and dark bottoms.

  1. Norris Street was always in Orford when I was a lad. If you want to be picky though, who’s the bloke in the picture? Isn’t he supost to have a scarf hiding his face?
