GRAPHIC design students from a Warrington college are working with a local business to produce a range of marketing materials.
Second year students from Priestley College have teamed up with Charity Print Shop to promote its services to the private sector. The business donates 50 per cent of its profits to help charities and community causes.
Work submitted by the students was of a high standard and the designs of Charlotte Cooper, Adam Nicholls, Ellis Gayle and Daniel Sim were shortlisted. They will now go to a public vote with the overall winning design being used in a campaign to support the work of Charity Print Shop.
Mark Wood, founder of the business, said: “The project was an excellent opportunity to work with young people who took on a difficult challenge of targeting the business-to-business market and looked at new ways of helping charities.”
Priestley tutor Paul McConnell said: “We were really grateful to work with Charity Print Shop on this brief, the feedback the students received was really useful and gives them the type of advice and guidance they can then use in further projects and in the real world.”
