Four arrests for violent crimes including assault on nurse

POLICE made four arrests for violent crimes yesterday, including an assault on a nurse at Warrington Hospital.

A 56-year-old old man was arrested and taken into custody accused of assaulting a nurse.

In a separate incident, a 23-year-old male was arrested in the Winwick area for assault and was also taken into custody.

Meanwhile, a 33-year-old male was arrested in the Howley area for an alleged assault on his partner, while a 54-year-old was male arrested in Woolston for a domestic assault.

Both men were taken into custody for questioning.
