Man arrested for assault on emergency worker after disturbance at Latchford

A 41-year-old man was arrested by police at Latchford yesterday for assaulting an emergency worker following a public order disturbance.

He was arrested and taken into custody for assault, public order and assault on an emergency worker.

In another incident, a 50-year-old male wass arrested in Lymm for drunk driving after a collision.

A 53-year-old male was also arrested in the Glazebrook area on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and was detained after a short foot chase.

Police also carried out patrols around Orford Park following recent issues with anti-social behaviour. Although they did have to speak to some youths about their behaviour, on a whole, all was well.
