A one-week road closure will come into force next Monday (April 25) on Omega Boulevard to allow United Utilities to carry out new drainage works.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Omega Boulevard from its junction with Watergrove Crescent to its junction with Orion Boulevard.

The Order will be effective from 25th April 2022 for one week, as and when signed on site.

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The alternative route will be via Omega Boulevard, Lingley Green Avenue, Whittle Avenue, Burtonwood Road, Skyline Drive and vice versa.

The closure is required to allow for the installation of a new drainage connection into the existing United Utilities system.
