Appeal for information after skip set on fire at Padgate

POLICE are investigating after a skip was set on fire under a large tree on Bawtry Court, Padgate, Warrington, last night.

Shortly after 9 pm firefighters from Stockton Heath were called to reports of a large skip on fire, believed to have been started deliberately, in Bawtry Court.

The fire in the skip, which was underneath a large tree, was put out by firefighters using a hose reel jet.

Police were informed and anyone with any information about this incident is urged to call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
