Chance to have a say on new Health and Wellbeing Hub

HEALTHWATCH Warrington and their initiative “Virtual Voices” is asking for input from local residents to have their voices heard on the new Health and Wellbeing Hub opening in the old Contact Centre in town.

Those taking part in the survey will have a chance to win gift vouchers to use at local businesses.

As part of the £22.1 million Town Deal funding secured for Warrington, partners successfully received £3.1million to create a much-needed health and wellbeing hub in Warrington town centre.

Lucy Gardner, Head of Strategy and Partnerships, Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said:”This hub will be a place where all members of the public can drop in to access advice and guidance, have a chat about their health and wellbeing needs, and even access clinical services or wellbeing activities.

“It will be a one-stop shop, where lots of public sector organisations and charities will work together to assist our communities to discover ways of accessing help and support relating to physical and mental health and wellbeing.

“But we need your advice, ideas and input to help us design the hub to best meet your needs, and the needs of our community.

“Virtual Voices is your opportunity to shape the future of the hub for you, your family and for the town. Make your voice heard and help bring to life your ideas for a healthier and happier Warrington. Take the survey today! added Lucy.
