Latest COVID-19 hot spots as three areas of Warrington see new case rates hit more than three figures

COVID-19 infection rates are continuing to rise in many areas of Warrington, with some areas of the town seeing new cases into three figures.

There have been significant spikes in Lymm with 156 new cases, Callands & Old Hall 114, and Kingswood and Whittle Hall 117.

There were a total of 1,832 new cases week ending March 19, compared to 1,261 the previous week and 659 the week before that.
