Hospital lottery
ONE lucky winner picked up the £1,971 jackpot prize in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital. Winning numbers were 2, 4, 5 and 8. A £25 consolation prize was won by a hospital visitor.

Stables plan
PLANS for stables, a tack room and store and a storage area for manure on land off Old Alder Lane, Burtonwood, have been given the go-ahead by borough planners.
