A Warrington town centre road will close next Tuesday (March 29) for up to one week to allow Scottish Power to install a new service.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Horrocks Lane from its junction with Buttermarket Street to its junction with the service road at the rear of the Time Square.

The Order will be effective from 29th March 2022 for one week, when signed on site.

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be signed on-site.

The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to install a new service.
