Man arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and money laundering

A man seen acting suspiciously in Warrington town centre earlier today, Monday, has been arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and money laundering.

Officers were again engaged in #projectservator in the Town Centre. when they identified a male who they believed to be acting suspiciously.

A stop search of the male resulted in him being arrested for money laundering and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs after he was found in possession of a large amount of cash.

As part of the #projectservator Plainclothes officers could be anywhere in the town centre at anytime.

Project Servator aims to deter, detect and disrupt a range of criminal activity, including terrorism, while providing a reassuring presence for the public. Officers are experienced and specially trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone is planning or preparing to commit an act of crime.
