Erratic drink driver was almost three times limit

A 20-year-old motorist who almost collided with another vehicle was found to be nearly three times the drink driving limit when arrested by Warrington Police.

The 20-year-old male was arrested on Academy Way in the town centre for driving with excess alcohol after he was observed by officers to nearly collide with another vehicle.
When tested he blew 103mg – the legal limit is 35.

In another incident, a 27-year-old male was arrested on Orford Lane after driving in a manner that caused officers to stop him. The male refused to provide a specimen of breath and was arrested for failing to provide a sample.

Meanwhile a 42 year-old male was arrested on St Katherine’s Way for numerous offences including breaching court bail and resisting arrest.
