THREE fire crews were called out last night to tackle a log burner fire at a residential property in Woolston, Warrington.

Shortly after 7:20 pm crews from Warrington, Stockton Heath and Lymm were called to the smoke-logged property on Baron Close, Warrington.

Firefighters extinguished the fire involving wood placed on top of the log burner.

Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire before using a large fan to clear smoke from the property.
