Men sought after betting shop raid

DETECTIVES at Warrington are appealing for information from the public following a raid on a betting shop.
The raid was at about 8.45pm on Monday at the Coral bookmakers in Knutsford Road, Grappenhall.
Two men, one armed with a knife, threatened the staff and tried to assault one of the members of staff by jabbing him in the back with the knife. Fortunately he was not hurt.
The offenders fled the scene with a three figure sum of cash. They concealed their identities with Halloween masks and wore dark coloured hoodies. The pair were last seen running in the direction of Latchford Locks.
Police are asking that any witnesses contact Warrington CID on 0845 458 0000 or the confidential Crimestoppers line 0800 555 111.
