WARRINGTON Rylands are back on their travels on Saturday when they venture north up the M6 to visit Kendal Town for an NPL West fixture.

Kick off at the ST&B Accountants Stadium Parkside Road Kendal LA9 7BL will be 3pm.

While Rylands were overcoming local rivals 1874 Northwich with a clinical display of finishing last Saturday, Kendal Town had their feet up as they were without a game.

Kendal’s last outing was on 5th February when they lost 4-2 at Kidsgrove Athletic, their 9th defeat in the last ten fixtures, a run which has seen them stuck firmly in a relegation battle.

Kendal have occupied a berth in the Division’s relegation zone since losing at Gorsey Lane in September, and enter Saturday’s game in 19th place 18 points from safety.

The two team’s respective league records going into Saturday’s game are:

P          W         D          L          GF        GA       GD       PTS      POS
Rylands                        29        19        5          5          73        33        40        61        3
Kendal                         28        3          2          23        25        75        -50       10        19

The two sides met on Tuesday 14th September 2021 when Rylands beat their Cumbrian rivals 2-1 at Gorsey Lane with goals from Ste Mile and Luke Wall, neither of whom are still with the club.

Rylands record on the road is:
P          W         D          L

And at their Parkside home Kendal Town’s league record is:
