Temporary 30 mph speed limit at Lymm to allow power mains diversion works

A temporary 30 mph speed limit is set to come into force on a stretch of road at Lymm to allow Scottish Power to carry out mains diversion works.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of which is to introduce a 30 mph speed limit restriction on Cliff Lane from its junction with Cherry Lane to the Borough Boundary with Cheshire East.

The Order will be effective from 28th February 2022 for 7up to seven weeks, when signed on site.

The restrictions are required to allow Scottish Power to carry out mains diversion works.
