Fire crew tackle deliberate fire in the open

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to tackle a deliberate fire in the open near Dallam that had got out of control.

At around 8 pm one crew from Warrington was called to reports of a fire on open land on Hodgkinson Avenue, Warrington.

The fire started intentionally had got out of control and needed extinguishing with a hose reel.

The fire required firefighters to be in attendance for around 30 minutes.
