WARRINGTON Rylands are at home again on Saturday when they host local rival 1874 Northwich at Gorsey Lane for NPL West Cheshire derby, fixture, kick off 3pm.

The game brings together two sides promoted from the NWCFL during last summer’s reshuffle,   and while Warrington Rylands were beating Colne 6-0 on Tuesday, 1874 Northwich were slipping to a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Glossop North End.

1874 Northwich’s form over the last six games has seen them win just one game, draw one and lose four placing them 16th in the division’s form table and 12th in the division with 32 point from 25 games.

Their Achilles heel has been their home form having lost 10 of the 15 league games played at Townfield, the second most home defeats in the division behind Kendal Town who have lost 11 from 14.

However, 1874 have one of the best away records in the division, while Rylands home record is the best in the division.

Away from Townfield 1874’s record is:
P          W         D          L
10        6          3          1

While Rylands home record is:
P          W         D          L
14        11        1          2

The two team’s respective league records going into today’s game are:
P          W         D          L          GF        GA       GD       PTS      POS
Rylands  28        18        5          5          70        32        38        59        3
1874  25        9          5          11        40        43        -3         32        12

Kick off at Gorsey Lane is 7.45pm with admission being £8 adults, £5 concessions (16-18 & 60+) £2 U16’s, plus programmes £2.

Refreshment bar in the ground serving beers, hot and cold drinks, pies, burgers and chips etc, while the main club house will be open before and after the game with full bar facilities.
