WARRINGTON Town FC have appointed former Burscough secretary Keith Maguire as their new club secretary with immediate effect.
Keith, a well respected figure in non league soccer, has stepped in to replace Geoff Bell who has resigned for personal reasons.
Keith has worked closely with Warrington Town manager Joey Dunn in the past when they were both at Burscough and has agreed to take on the role until the end of the season, when the situation will be reviewed.
He will work alongside existing match day secretary Chris Henshall.
Warrington Town CEO Gary Skentelbery said: “We would like to thank Keith for stepping in at short notice. His experience will be invaluable to the club.
“We would also like to say a big thank you to Geoff Bell for all his hard work at Warrington Town and wish him well for the future.”
