Colne v Warrington Rylands big game preview

AFTER Saturday’s dramatic win at table topping Marine Warrington Rylands travel to Colne on Tuesday for their next assignment in the NPL West.

Colne have not been enjoying the best of times having, , lost their last three games on the bounce against Clitheroe, Kendal Town and last Saturday at Glossop North End 3-2.

Finding themselves 3-0 down with twenty minutes to play at Glossop they staged a comeback and with two late goals from leading goal scorer Reece Webb-Foster nearly snatched an unlikely point leaving them 12th in the NPL West table

The two team’s respective league records going into Tuesday’s game are:

Including cup ties Colne have played 12 home games attracting an average crowd of 311 with the biggest attendance being 441 for the New Year’s Day clash with Kendal Town while the lowest was 106 for a Lancashire Challenge Trophy tie against Atherton Collieries.
