Road to close for six weeks

PART of a busy Warrington road will be closed for six weeks from Monday October 25.
A temporary prohibition of driving will be introduced on Thelwall New Road, from its junction with Cross Lane to its junction with Bradshaw Lane, Thelwall.
The first alternative route will be via A50 Higher Knutsford Road, A50 Knutsford Road, A56 Stockport Road and vice versa.
A second alternative route is via Cross Lane, A50 Knutsford Road, Bradshaw Lane and vice versa.
Closure is to allow maintenance work to be carried out to the high level bridge.
