THE occupants of a stationary car on the M6 near Lymm had a lucky escape this morning when the vehicle was flipped on its roof following a collision.
The accident involving a stationary car on the hard shoulder happened on the M6 Southbound between junction 21, Woolston, and junction 20, Lymm interchange.
Two lanes out of four were closed as a result.
The lanes have since re-opened.
DO NOT sit in your car on a motorway hard shoulder.
