Driver escapes from blaze car

A WOMAN driver escaped unharmed when her car burst into flames as she was driving home at Warrington.
Flames leapt from the engine compartment as the car pulled into Ferndale Close, Woolston.
Firefighters were called to the scene and extinguished the blaze, which was caused by an electrical fault.
In a separate incident last night, fire crews were called to Evelyn Street, Warrington when a parked car was discovered ablaze.
Again, an electrical fault was blamed for the outbreak which caused extensive damage to the vehicle.
