WARRINGTON Wolves have shown their support to a fan who went on a marathon run in memory of his dad helping raise funds for Help for Heroes.
Antony Monks, 21, from Padgate, Warrington, recently ran 100 miles with friend Wesley Markie in memory of his dad and the charity Help for Heroes.
Antony visited The Halliwell Jones Stadium where Chief Executive Andy Gatcliffe presented him with a signed shirt to help him with his fundraising efforts.
Antony lost his dad when he was just four years old. His dad died whilst serving in the RAF.
The 100-mile run took him 23 hours and 57 minutes to complete covering the North West and has currently raised circa £3500.
