WARRINGTON town centre’s Marks & Spencer has officially opened its newly-developed 35,000 sq ft store at Golden Square.
M&S Golden Square Store Manager Denise Swift officially declared the new-look store open with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.
Customers were then invited to join in the opening day celebrations, which included complimentary champagne, stylist, personal shoppers, food tasting sessions and an in-store DJ. Visitors were also given the opportunity to win a share of £1,000 in M&S Gift Cards.
The newly modernised M&S has created eight new jobs and gives local consumers a great shopping destination, offering a wide selection of fashion across womenswear, including per una, Indigo and Classic plus M&S’ extensive lingerie ranges. The store also features comprehensive Menswear and Kidswear sections and a Homeware department offering a stylish selection of products.
The re-designed M&S store also has an extended range of food and drink products available in the Food Hall, including Simply Fuller Longer, Cook! and Ingredients ranges. Shoppers can also visit the brand new in-store bakery for a range of freshly baked breads and pastries, and can choose from a comprehensive selection of wine, to find the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
Shoppers can unwind and relax in the brand new 90-seater M&S café, serving a delectable selection of hot and cold dishes, cakes and pastries and a wide selection of soft drinks, and specially selected teas and coffees.
Additional customer services, such as a brand new customer service area, new fitting rooms, new lifts and toilets and a revamped collect by car area, will ensure that each customer’s visit is as convenient as possible.
M&S Warrington Golden Square also features a range of environmental attributes in line with Plan A, M&S’100-point, five year ‘eco’ plan, including brand new CO2 refrigerators and freezers and water saving features in the toilets and sink areas.
