FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called out in the early hours of this morning following reports of a car well alight at Latchford.

The blaze was in Station Road and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the flames with two hose reel jets shortly after 1am.
They then dampened down the surrounding area. There were no reports of injuries.
Earlier, a fire crew went to a skate park off Alder Lane, Warrington, where they discovered a wheelie bin had been set alight.
It was yet another in a series of arson incidents involving wheelie bins in the Orford area and police have issued an appeal to parents to talk to their children about the dangers of fire. Anyone with information should all police on 101.
