Paint the South red!

WARRINGTON Wolves are supporting a youth group from South Warrington who have organised an artistic, cultural and sporting event.
South Warrington Youth Forum Team (SWYFT) hopes rugby coaching offered by the Challenge Cup winners will attract teenagers to the event.
The day, called Paint the South Red, will also feature performances by local bands, free running, graffiti art, face painting, a recycled fashion show and pampering sessions.
The group is also keen to include an art show on the day and would like to hear from teenagers who would like their artwork displayed.
Pupils from Sir Thomas Boteler, Bridgewater High and Lymm High Schools make up SWYFT and have spent more than a year planning the event and have given up free time this summer to make sure it is a success. They have been backed by Warrington Youth Support Service.
“Paint the South Red” takes place on Saturday September 18 at Broomfields Leisure Centre, Appleton.
Anyone who wants to find out more should call the youth support service on 01925 442874.
