Thousands welcome home victorious Wolves

0

TENS of thousands of Warrington Wolves fans lined the streets of the

town to welcome home the team after their historic Challenge Cup Final

victory at Wembley.
The open top bus, which set off from Woolston, to give more supporters a chance of seeing the famous trophy which Warrington won for the second year running for the first time in the club’s long and illustrious history, was more than an hour late arriving at the town hall, due to the sheer volume of fans.
Thousands packed on the town hall lawn to be welcomed home by the Mayor Coun John Joyce, for a special civic reception for the team.
More pictures and exclusive video interviews of Head Coach Tony Smith and man-of-the-match Lee Briers will be uploaded later. Watch this space!
In the meantime please email in your own pictures and video clips from Wembley and the homecoming to [email protected]
