TWO more COVID-19 deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital since last Friday while inpatient numbers have also risen to more than 30 as infection rates continue to rise with 158 new cases in the town.
The 158 (101) new cases reported by Public Health England, takes the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 30,512 (30,354).
While two more deaths have been reported inpatient numbers have risen from 28-31 since Friday, while a total of 12 patients have been discharged.
Infection rates in Warrington for the last seven days have risen again to an average of 840 (827) – 401.2 (394.9) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period which have continued to rise above the national average of 348.4 (352.7) per 100,000, which have fallen again slightly.
