A DRAMA group kicks off its 60th season with an Agatha Christie thriller, “The Unexpected Guest”.
It will be the 160th production for the Bridgewater Players and will be staged at Thelwall Village Hall from Thursday November 18 to Saturday November 20. It will be produced by Alison Hornby.
The next production will be a comedy, yet to be selected, produced by June Brogdale. Performance dates will be Thursday February 10 until Saturday February 12.
A black comedy will be staged for the third production – possibly the classic, The Killing of Sister George. It will be produced by Andy Rushman and staged from Thursday April 14 to Saturday April 16 next year.
Andy Rushman, ticket secretary, said: “Unfortunately due to increasing costs associated with rehearsals, hire of the hall, play books and the cost of the performance license, it has been necessary to increase the cost of tickets for this coming season. The ticket price will still include an interval drink and biscuit.”
The ticket price for each play is £4.50 and £12 season tickets for all three plays are also available. Details are available on www.bridgewaterplayers.co.uk
