Road closed as firefighters tackle skip fire at Orford

A road had to be closed during the early hours of this morning as firefighters tackled a skip fire at Orford, Warrington.

Shortly after 4 am firefighters from Warrington were called to reports of a skip on fire on Grasmere Avenue, Warrington.



The road was closed as a precaution whilst a hose reel jet was used to put the fire out.
The crew was at the scene for 20 minutes and the road was reopened at around 4.35 am.
