Firefighters tackle motorcycle blaze and fire in the open

FIREFIGHTERS were called out following reports of a motorcycle well alight at Woolston last night and to a fire in the open at Latchford this morning.

Shortly after 6.30pm last night one crew from Birchwood was called out following reports of a fire involving a vehicle on New Cut Lane.



On arrival, the crew found one motorcycle well alight.
A water backpack and hand appliances were used to extinguish the flames.
Then shortly before 7.30am this morning firefighters from Warrington were called following reports of a fire in the open off Maple Grove, Latchford.
On arrival, the crew found a small bonfire well alight and unattended.
A water backpack and handheld appliance was used to extinguish the flames.
