Water supplies restored

WATER supplies have now been restored to all customers affected by a damaged water main at Warrington.
But it was late last night (Wednesday) before all properties were receiving water.
Some water was temporarily discoloured through natural sediment, but United Utilities engineers worked through the night flushing the system to minimise problems.
The incident, which is believed to have affected more than 4,000 properties, was caused by contractors working on road maintenance damaging a pipe.
