Radio General on road to Wembley

WARRINGTON Hospital Radio, Radio General, are ‘On the Road to Wembley after permission was granted for them to broadcast their first live match commentary of the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final when Warrington Wolves take on Leeds Rhinos this Saturday.
Special programmes will replace the normal schedule; starting at 10:00 am, when Kevin Farrell will start the build up by talking to the Wolves supporters on the way to Wembley.
An extended Saturday Sport programme follows at noon, presented by Mark Snowdon and David Quinn, which will look back at the victory last year and relive the homecoming of the Wolves and Challenge Cup. They will also bring updates from Blackburn v Arsenal match.
At 2.30 pm the rugby commentary team of David Parkinson and Adrian Jackson will be at Wembley to bring live coverage of the match to the patient’s bedside radio on channel 1. with football updates from 4 Premier League games with David Quinn at half time.
Following the big match David Quinn brings the latest in the football action, with updates from four Premier League games plus a review of the Challenge Cup Final. This is followed by the Classified Football Results at 5:05 pm and then the regular Patient Request programme.
On Sunday, Radio General will be broadcasting a special programme at 3:00 pm live from the Town Hall lawn. They will talk to supporters and cover the Warrington Wolves arrival at the Town Hall plus football updates from three Premier League games.
