FIREFIGHTERS were called out to reports of a car on fire at Greenings Court, Warrington.
Shortly before 6 pm yesterday, one crew from Warrington was called out following reports of a car fire on Greenings Court.
On arrival at the scene the crew found that the vehicle was not on fire, but the engine had blown causing heavy smoke.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to cool the engine and was detained at the scene for around 20 minutes.
