MORE than 500 local children enjoyed a morning of fun in Warrington today thanks to CBeebies.
The event, held at Golden Square Shopping Centre welcomed children and parents to celebrate the new school year.
CBeebies presenters Evie Pickerill and Ben Cajee hosted the fun as those attending were treated to a special screening of never before seen episodes of new CBeebies show, Biff and Chip.
The show, which was filmed in Warrington, brings the characters made famous by the Oxford Tree books to life as it follows the famous siblings, their family and friends plus Floppy the dog on their many fun adventures.
The audience was in for another treat when following the screening, the cast of Biff and Chip took to the stage to talk about the show and reveal some behind the scenes secrets!
Host Evie said: “What a fun morning we’ve had! It was so lovely to see so many happy, excited faces in front of us following what has been a tough year for kids especially. Everyone loved watching Biff and Chip and the people of Warrington gave us the warmest of welcomes.”
CBeebies’ Biff & Chip is produced by BBC Children’s In-House Productions with Sue Nott as Executive Producer and Tom O’Connell as Series Producer. Biff & Chip starts on Monday 13 September on CBeebies and all episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer.
