A ROUTINE traffic stop in Warrington town centre resulted in a man being arrested for possessing drugs and driving under the influence of drugs.
Two officers stopped the car and could immediately smell cannabis in the vehicle.
The driver tested positive for cannabis and cocaine and was arrested.
This weekend S/CI Boland & SC Bodgan arrested a male in the Town Centre on suspicion of drug driving & possession of a controlled drug. After conducting a routine traffic stop, they could smell cannabis in the car. He provided a positive drug wipe for cannabis & cocaine. #Fatal5 pic.twitter.com/3k2K8zhwuE
