Scrambler bike driven dangerously at speed in residential area

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an off-road scrambler bike was ridden dangerously at speed in a residential area of Appleton, Warrington, yesterday, Saturday.

Officers received reports of an off-road scrambler bike causing a nuisance around Cobbs Lane yesterday.
Witnesses described it as very dangerous as it was being ridden at speed and the rider was not wearing a helmet.

In another incident, overnight police arrested and took into custody a 21-year-old man for driving under the influence and drink and drugs (cocaine) at Orford.
A 29-year-old man was also arrested on Mersey Street during the early hours of this morning for being drunk and disorderly and assault on police while a 34-year-old male was arrested in the town centre at 3am for being drunk and disorderly.
Both were taken into custody.
