Prisoner who absconded from Thorn Cross Prison back in custody

A prisoner who absconded from Thorn Cross Prison in Appleton Thorn, Warrington, is back in custody.

Richard Hanson, aged 35, absconded from HMP Thorn Cross in Appleton at 1.40pm on Friday 27 August.



Following on from a search with the police helicopter and a public appeal, Hanson is now been located and arrested and is back in custody.
