CCTV operators help police catch two males going equipped to steal pedal cycles with bolt cutters

TWO males have been arrested after being seen acting suspiciously in Warrington town centre near pedal cycles by CCTV operators.

They have been arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft.
Officers discovered them in possession of bolt cutters and Class A drugs.
Meanwhile, residents in the Bewsey & Whitecross area of town are being warned to be on their guard following a recent spike in motorcycle thefts in the area.
Officers are urging owners to ensure their machines are secure.
