CRAFT items, cream teas and locally sourced food will be on sale at two open days at the Walled Gardens of Warrington’s Walton Lea Project.
The gardens, on the A56 Chester Road, will be open to the public for sales of plants, freshly harvested produce and locally sourced foods between 11.30am and 3pm on Saturday August 28 and Saturday September 25.
The project is a registered charity supporting adults with learning difficulties in the Warrington area. It started in 1997 with just seven people, and now helps more than 60 across two sites – Walton Lea and Long Lane Garden Centre on Warrington Business Park.
Organisers urge people to help the local charity and enable adults with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives and take an active part in the local community.
