Police charge 25 people connected to serious and organised drugs crime following dawn raids

POLICE have charged 25 people in connection with serious and organised drugs crime offences following dawns raids across the North West including Warrington.

A total of 23 men and two women, including 14 men from Warrington, have been charged with drug offences following an operation by Cheshire Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) targeting organised crime in Warrington, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.



All 25 have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs and are appearing at Chester Magistrates Court or Warrington Magistrates Court today, Thursday 12 August.
Appearing at Warrington Magistrates Court are:
Elizabeth Andrews, 52, of Radway Road in Huyton has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Paul Ellis, 55, of Rixton Avenue in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Darren Houghton, 48, of Trafford Avenue in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Jack Murphy, 19, of Nightingale Road in Liverpool has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Stephen Brett, 25, of Ackers Hall Lane in Liverpool has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Callum Hubbersty, 21, of Charlton Street in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Kane Nixon, 20, of Cromwell Court in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Kyle Thomas, 25, of Watkin Street in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
James Heys, 41, of Poachers Lane in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Barry Jones, 52, of Algernon Street in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine.
Mark Little, 38, of Town Hill in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Mathew Little, 34, of Melville Close in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Connor Houghton, 20, The Crescent in Lymm has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.

Antony Cragg, 32, of Longshaw Street, Warrington, has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Alex Brady, 21, of Lightoaks Road in Salford has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Robert Spakouskas, 43, of Brook Drive in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Dez Challinor, 20, of no fixed address, has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Courtney Moss, 25, of Aspinall Crescent in Worsley has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Keelan Emery, 22, Nassau Drive in Swinton has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Craig Williams, 19, of Liverpool Street in Salford has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Mason Clemonds, 19, of Bank Lane in Salford has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Saje Nearon, 42, of Lytton Grove in Birmingham has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Mark Ingle, 44, of Longshaw Street in Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Daniel Kilcourse, 23, of Oronsay Grove in Salford has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Anthony Westhead, 45, of no fixed address has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.

The charges relate to arrests made on Wednesday 11 August as part of a number of early-morning warrants in Warrington, Salford, Worsley and Merseyside in connection with an operation focusing on serious and organised crime and illegal drugs.
Following the warrants, local officers carried out extensive patrols to provide reassurance to the community.
