Firefighters called out for second consecutive day to rescue people trapped in bus station lift

FIREFIGHTERS were called out for a second consecutive day to rescue people trapped in a lift at Warrington Bus Station interchange.

One crew from Warrington attended yesterday at around 5.20 pm following reports of people stuck in a lift.



Firefighters helped to release two people who were stuck in a lift at the Warrington Bus Station Interchange on Horsemarket Street.
The crew was detained at the scene for around 20 minutes.
The previous day firefighters had helped rescue four people trapped in the same lift.
