Hot food takeaway plan for former TSB bank

PLANS have been submitted to Warrington Borough Council convert a former TSB bank building into a hot food take away.
The proposal involves the former branch in Honiton Way, Penketh which has stood empty since it closed in November last year.
One objection has been received from a resident who believes there is a need for a hardware shop on the site.

Applicants Elpitha II Ltd. Say the proposed takeaway outlet would offer a varied menu with focus on providing healthy dishes and drinks using fresh and quality ingredients.
The main three elements of the healthy menu offer will be based on fresh salads, griilled fish and grilled meat. These are popular at the applicant’s other outlets in the Manchester area.
Inside, the building would be completely refurbished, but the exterior would be largely unchanged.
The applicants say they believe the shop would add to the viability of the Honiton Way shopping precinct.
