A man and woman required treatment for smoke inhalation after a shed fire spread to a property at Houghton Green, Warrington, during the early hours of this morning.

Three fire crews from Warrington, Stockton Heath and Lymm were called out shortly after 1 am to a property on Lockerbie Close following reports of a shed well alight.
The fire had also spread to the property.

Crews, wearing two breathing apparatus, used a hose reel and a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Firefighters then dampened down the area and removed tiles from the roof before checking the heat levels using a thermal imaging camera.
A man and a woman were treated for smoke inhalation.
Crews were in attendance for approximately four hours.
