Fire crews tackle Orford flat fire

FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus tackled a flat fire at Orford, Warrington, last night, Saturday.

Shortly before 9.45pm two crews from Warrington and Penketh were called to a fire in a flat on Cleveland Road, Orford, Warrington.



Wearing breathing apparatus, they used a hose reel jet to put the fire out.
They then used a large fan to clear smoke from the flat.
They were at the scene for an hour-and-a-half.
There were no reports of any injuries.
