Four fire crews called out to two vehicle collision on M62 at Winwick

FOUR fire crews from the Warrington area were called out during the early hours of this morning to a two-vehicle collision on the M62 at Winwick.

The collision took place shortly before 03.45 on eastbound carriageway between junction nine to junction 10 of the M62.



Four fire engines attended from Warrington, Lymm, Birchwood and Stockton Heath following a collision involving a van and a heavy goods vehicle.
One man was assessed at the scene by paramedics.
Crews made the scene safe and were in attendance for approximately 40 minutes.
