COVID-19 infection rates are continuing to rise in Warrington with 92 new cases in the latest data from Public Health England.
But hospital admissions still remain relatively low, with inpatient numbers remaining at 15.
The 92 (108) new COVID-19 cases take the total number of confirmed cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 19,208 (19,116).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days have risen again, with 425 (415) – 202.4 (197.6) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period– almost double the national rate of 105.2 (100.8) per 100,000, which also continues to rise.
Meanwhile, another 221,534 people had their first dose of a COVID vaccine, while 177,813 have received their second jab.
A total of 43,877,861 first jabs have been administered in the UK, while 32,085,916 people have now been fully vaccinated.
